Using inspiration from old-school Yamaha has managed to make quite an interesting retro bike that is wrapped in modern technology. What is noticeable is that it is based on the MT-07, with a barrage of cosmetic updates. It is now a brand new Yamaha motorcycle XSR700.
The 2016 Yamaha XRS700 powered by engine displacement of 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin, DOHC, 2-cylinder, 4-valves, which develops force of 75 hp (55 kW) at 9000 rpm and torque of 68.0 Nm (50 lb -ft) at 6,500 rpm, paired with constant mesh, 6-speed transmission.
Diamond frame that is lightweight for outstanding agility and handling with front suspension telescopic fork of 130 mm wheel travel rear suspension and swingarm (link type) with 130 mm wheel travel. 10-spoke aluminum wheels wrapped in tires: front 120/70 ZR 17M / C (58V) and rear 180/55 ZR 17M / C (73V). Front brake 282 mm dual hydraulic disc and rear tire 245mm hydraulic single disc. Fuel such a capacity of 14 liters and wet weight of 186 kg with ABS.
Decoration complete whole Yamaha XRS700 must pay styling mods that include retro tank, a shorty exhaust as ia period dash / speedo. All these changes are more than functional but to take closer look is similar to the Ducati Scrambler. New Yamaha XRS700 will be available in showrooms in late 2015 years.
