One of the interesting news from the previous EICMA motorcycle show has certainly presented a new sporty naked which coming directly from Yamaha called MT-10. We can safely say that it's worthy successor elderly FZ1 models.
The 2016 Yamaha MT-10 is currently the most aggressive model of the manufacturer, to make things better, not just engine inherited from R1, but also the frame, and all this is supported by the interesting and imaginative design. Double front LED light located below the small masks, and we can see that the entire light assembly is mounted directly to the frame of the bike. The rear end is minimalist so that makes the difference that exhaust.
The new Yamaha MT-10 powered by liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valves, engine displacement of 998cc, mated to a 6-speed gerabox. Although not yet given a complete specification of output but surely we can expect to be more than 150 hp.
Frame is aluminum deltabox, front suspension 43 mm inverted KYB fork and rear suspension by twin arm aluminum swingarm and monoshock link actuated, all fully adjustable. Front tire 120/70 ZR17 M / C (58W) and rear tire 190/55 ZR17 M / C (75W). Front brake 320 mm dual hydraulic discs with a radial four-piston caliper and rear brake 220 mm single hydraulic disc.
Newly designed LCD instrument panel includes electronic functions that are hidden in the Yamaha D-Mode allowing choice of different maps of ignition under control YCC-T and of course, possesses Traction Control.
We assume that will be on sale from May next year and contains the following color palette Tech Black, Race Blu Night and Fluorescent. Sure to have a varied and addition of equipment that can be ordered separately.
