At the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo by TVS Motor Company introduced a very interesting model named Akula 310 Concept. This high-performance bike contains a high level of sophistication and the highest quality materials and inspiration received on the basis of the BMW G310R.
The TVS Akula 310 Concept powered by liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, 4-valve, DOHC, displacement of 310cc, electronic fuel injection, BMW-E2, mated to a synchromesh 6-speed gearbox integrated in engine housing with multiple-disc clutch in oil bath, mechanically operated. According to the company's information develops 33.6 hp at 9500 rpm (max 10500 rpm) and torque of 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. Exhaust has a closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter and has the EU 4 standard.
The Akula 310 Concept has a stiff space frame chassis as well as lightweight carbon fiber bodywork, front suspension is upside down fork and monoshock rear suspension with alloy swing arm provides dynamics control, but also flexibility to rider as well. Alloy wheels of 17" wrapped in tire dimensions of 120/70 front and 160/60 rear.
