According to some rumors for the upcoming NAIAS in Detroit announced the premiere of the third version of this concept under the name Infiniti QX50. We must mention that the first version of this concept are emerged on April Auto Show in Beijing while the little reworked version that is closer to a possible series production then presented in Paris.
Infiniti QX50 concept belongs to the latest generation of mid-size premium SUV, which is also the fastest growing segement of the vehicle. The design philosophy is inspiring and very conspicuous, distinguished by Elegance Powerful taut lines with muscular stance, with a shaped LED lights, large alloy wheels that show the overall silhouette of a dynamic and highly practical and there is a world-first semi-autonomous technologies, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, drive-by-wire Direct Adaptive Steering and Active Lane Control.
As far as dimensions, this reminder that the car is 4600 mm long, 1900 mm wide and 1650 mm high, while the wheelbase is 2800 mm.
The new Infiniti QX50 concept under the hood should receive a new Nissan VC-Turbo engine with variable compression where the power is obtained by a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with the torque and efficiency of an advanced diesel powertrain. Thus the technical specifications of engines could amount to 268 hp (200 kW) and maximum torque of 390 Nm.
Using new technology VC-Turbo with joining other renowned powertrain innovations such as liquid cooling, fuel injection, catalytic convertors, and turbocharging, will represent a new standard for future vehicles that want to have the efficiency, power and good emissions.
