Honda is at the Beijing Auto Show unveiled its serial version of the SUV under the name Avancier, which was primarily presented as a concept D-SUV, and is exclusively for the Chinese market.
The 2017 Honda Avancier will be offered with engines of 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, Sport Turbo, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and AWD, but according to unofficial information, the offer will be even a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine which will be offered in versions with CVT and six-speed manual transmission, and is mentioned even in a hybrid version. As to the exact specification of the engine, or the amount of power and torque Honda has not yet been announced.
The exterior of the Honda Avancier characterized by sporty grille with gray louver and brand emblem, LED hedlights and LED fog lights with a trim insert are located in the lower holes. The air dam and between those vents include a rectangular mesh inside and a great insert at the bottom. Side skirts, door lower part, and the wheel arches are made wider than the top body. Rear end has a C-shape taillights, reflector, rectangular exhaust outlets integrated into the fascia with a large, gray insert place between them, roof rails on top of the roof and chrome accent.
The interior is pretty standard for Honda, which is very luxury with sport leather upholstery on the seats, center console, lower dash, and the door trim panels. On the center console is placed large touchscreen display. For greater comfort care to triple-zone heating and cooling, a panoramic glass roof, electronic parking brake, push button gear selection, and heated and ventilated seats. In front of the driver is dashboard with tachometer and a speedometer with what looks to be a six-inch display nestled between the two. In the rear seat has enough space to accommodate three people who have the ability to use touch screen display that is embedded in the backrests.
New Honda Avancier products within the co-operation of Guangzhou-Honda joint venture on the market should occur in the first half of this year.
