Very attractive, strong design and good driving dynamics, the tenth generation of the popular model which is based on the current hatchback model, on the Moto Show in Geneva left an very good impression. In this way, it announced a significant step forward in the changes brought by Honda Civic hatchback concept.
The 2016 Honda Civic hatchback concept is noticeably different from the existing model primarily because is longer 130mm, wider by 30 mm and 20 mm lower on the grounds, that there provides one of the most spacious cabins in the C segment. Front end is very sharp, which ranges from sculpted bonnet below which are located LED headlights and daytime running lights, and accentuated wheel arches. The new Honda Civic hatchback will continue to produce in the UK, in Swindon factory and the first units on the market expected by spring 2017. Consequently the European market it will be a new 1.0 and 1.5-liter turbo engines.
The basic 1.0-liter three-cylinder i-VTEC engine that according to unofficial information should have the power of 127 hp and 200 Nm whereby the fuel consumption should amount to 4.2 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km;
while the 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol i-VTEC engine have significantly more power, around 175 hp, how many currently available to the US version, in addition to the standard offer of a six-speed manual transmission or the optional CVT transmission;
Diesel engine remains the 1.6-liter i-DTEC, which will have a little more than the current 120 hp, it will therefore be reduced and CO2 emissions below 94 g / km.
