At the New York International Auto Show, General Motors unveiled its new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible which brings a lot of innovation in terms of performance or improvements and upgrade other elements.
The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible under the hood has a 6.2-liter LT4 V8 engine that is more powerful and faster than his older brother and has a power of 640 hp (477 kW) and 868 Nm (640 lb-ft) of torque. Comes standard with a manual six-speed gearbox, while an option to be available, and the new 10-speed automatic transmission. Therefore has more acceleration but not only because of the engine but also he is lighter by 91 kg than its predecessor.
We see structural changes in order to distinguish it from the ZL1 coupe models, and is therefore a sleek aerodynamic package, lower grille offers greater airflow (enlargement front fender), side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, new hood with a carbon fiber insert and heat extractor. It is stands on the new 20" alloy wheels that are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires 285 / 30ZR20 front and 305 / 30ZR20 at the rear which behind are hide undisputed Brembo braking systems.
Of course it is not the end but the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible among other things received and enhanced Magnetic Ride suspension, Performance Traction Management, electronic LSD, Driver Mode Selector, dual-mode exhaust and advanced connectivity features.
The interior is still extremely sports with standard Recaro sports seats, red contrast stitching and a steering wheel with a flattened bottom part.
The price of the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible is not yet known in will be available early next year.
