The legendary sports car Chevrolet Corvette for the next year (model season) received some novelty and presented at the current Moto Show in Geneva under the name Grand Sport.
The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport under the hood hides a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that develops a maximum power of 460 hp (343 kW) with dry-sump oiling system and active exhaust who is paired with a seven-speed manual transmission with active rev match and available eight-speed paddle-shift automatic with specific performance calibration.
Exterior has undergone some changes since that is primarily front grille drew inspiration from the Z06 model, then cheeses last fenders, unique alloy wheels 19" from the front and 20" from the back, which are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (size 285/30- front and 335/25-rear). Then on the list were found magnetic ride control, a modified suspension, electronic LSD differential and inviolable Brembo carbon-ceramic brake dimensions 355mm rotors with 6-piston calipers in front and 340mm rotors with 4-piston calipers in the rear.
New Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will also have a choice of Z07 performance package as the Grand Sport Collector Edition, and will be on sale at the beginning of this year as far as the US market while for European market will be available from the autumn.
In the end, to say what buyers get a choice Z07 performance package: body kit made of carbon fiber, carbon-ceramic brakes, Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, while Grand Sport Collector Edition includes Watkins Glen Gray Metallic exterior color, Blue Tension graphics, satin black full- length stripes, black wheels and Tension Blue leather interior.
