Nissan last year introduced the second generation of pick-up called Titan, which has brought some new innovations. We see small changes to the interior and a slight restyling of the exterior and the fact that Titan is the only model in its class with a V8 diesel engine.
The 2016 Nissan Titan XD brings an offer of three engines V6 and V8 petrol and V8 diesel, with the difference that the V6 company did not provide specifications. The petrol 5.6-liters Endurance V-8 is the standard engine that develops 390 hp at 5,800 rpm and torque of 401 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear-wheel or 4 wheel drive and has Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching.
The second 5.0-liters Cummings V8 TD that develops 310 hp at 3,200 rpm and torque of 555 lb-ft at 1,600 rpm, mated to a heavy-duty 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission that sends power to the rear-wheel or 4 wheel drive and also has Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching. For now, this is what is currently on offer for engine but assumed that the offer would be extended with the new petrol models.
At the NAIAS in Detroit last year we had a chance to see just the most luxurious version of the Nissan Titan XD, and is available only in a version with four doors, and the largest cargo box. If we look into the exterior somewhat reminds us of the Ford F-150 and the issue of front and rear of the interior. The choice of wheels from 17" to 20", the suspension is set for off-road and maximum traction, at least the factory data, is about five tons (can definitely do more, but the company is not recommended because it loses the guarantee).
The interior is large 30% compared to the previous version, also receives a new high-end trim level called Platinum Reserve, wood accents liven up the steering wheel, dashboard, door panels while French-stitched leather graces the rest of the cabin and two-tone leather seats that own heating and cooling functions. Information screen of 5" displays provides all the necessary information, a new off-road screen shows the truck's pitch and roll angles and there is a 12-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system.
For the new Nissan Titan XD can enumerate a lot of details, but it should be noted that one can choose in nine trims of S Crew Cab 4x2 to Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4x4. On this basis, the price range of $ $ 40.290 to $ 60.520 USD.
